A bay area staple that we tried many years ago and finally came back to revisit after probably 5+ years! I don't remember Jjajangmyeon being this good! Noodles were so bouncy and chewy - paired with a nice savory black bean sauce. BUT THE REAL STAR IS THE MANDU. I adore fried foods and any type of fried dumpling is a must. I especially liked they had a half order option in case you wanted to try and have a small bite to nibble on without committing to a full order. The dumplings were so good that my only regret was actually not getting the full order . Perfectly crunchy with a juicy pork interior - a must get! Their beef noodle soup (Jjampong) was also incredibly tasty - often overshadowed by their staple black bean noodles, I wouldn't overlook this! A nice, clean tasting noodle soup with beef slices (and shrimp but we asked for no shrimp) that comes with good pieces of veggies and cabbage to balance the dish to not make it too heavy. Everything we had was delicious! Parking is really tough here btw - lots of limited or no parking signs around so suggest carpooling or something

Finally fixed my jjajangmyeon and jjampong cravings. Took the opportunity to go out and grab some on my one wfh day. Paik's never fails and the quality is consistent. Their jjajangmyeon is flavorful and the noodles are so bouncy. I love the radishes as well and can't get enough of them. Their seafood jjampong is just as great. I do wish it was a little spicier and there was a bit more seafood but overall still very yummy. Got a side of their cream saeu shrimp and it was creamy indeed. Unfortunately by the time I got back, the shrimp was a bit soggy but that's the downside of take out. Nonetheless still very good! I normally do takeout so can't say much on service but they seem to very quick with the orders.

Delicious carbs galore. We had the jjajangmyeon, tangsuyuk (crispy sweet and sour pork, and honey walnut fried shrimp and all dishes were delicious. The jjajangmyeon noodles were firm and the sauce was sweet but not too sweet, which the tangsuyuk was fried to a perfect crisp. The shrimp reminded me of the honey walnut shrimp I ate in my childhood, which was delicious. This was a common theme--food reminded me of home-cooked comfort foods from my childhood which made me happy :) For the price, the portions were huge and was perfect for sharing between a large group of people. Service is relatively fast and ambiance is lively, perfect for some food before a long night out. Would recommend for large groups of people--the dishes are perfect for sharing!

Paik's Noodles in Cupertino is an absolute haven for Korean noodle and dumpling lovers! Starting with the Jjajangmyeon, this dish is a knockout. Imagine fresh, chewy Korean noodles swimming in a rich, savory black bean sauce that's both hearty and comforting. Those tiny green peas on top? They add just the right pop of sweetness, making each bite a blissful experience. Then there's the Jjamppong, a spicy seafood soup that's nothing short of a flavor explosion. Packed with mussels, squid, and cabbage, this dish brings the heat with a broth that's perfectly spicy--enough to warm you up without making you reach for the water. It's like a fiery embrace on a chilly day, with just the right amount of kick to keep things exciting. But let's not forget the Mandu, which are the stars of the show. These dumplings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, offering a perfect crunch with each bite. The filling, a savory mix of meat and veggies, is downright delicious. The super crispy exterior makes them the ideal sidekick to the noodle dishes. Plus, with very reasonable prices and super fast service--even with a line of eager diners--Paik's Noodles delivers both quality and value, making it a must-visit spot for anyone who loves great food and great vibes!
